Climate change legislation
The Centre is working on a pro‐bono basis with the Government of Meghalaya to draft legislation that not only affords additional protection to its pristine environment and the ecosystems it supports, but also ensures these laws build resilience against the effects of climate change.
Supporting Youth Empowerment
The Centre is working on a ground-breaking initiative with its partners to establish a programme aimed at bringing together young adults from diverse sectors to contribute to climate action and resilience
Inputs to OHCHR
The Centre provided expert inputs to the OHCHR, proposing discussion topics for the upcoming session of the Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law, themed “Democracy and climate change: focusing on solutions.”
Freedom of Expression Initiatives
The Centre hosted a panel discussion under UNESCO's framework on World Press Freedom Day 2025, is co-hosting a special screening of While We Watched, and is planning capacity-building initiatives for journalists.
